Pastor Keith Nuckolls

Pastor Keith Nuckolls has been a Clay County resident since his days at Hayesville High School.  A graduate of HHS in 1978, he grew to love the people and culture of the mountains.  Finishing Piedmont College in 1983, he was hired to be a High School teacher and coach.  God blessed the fledgling efforts and Keith began to see how God can work in everyone’s life if they surrender to Him. 

In 1994, Keith accepted the call into pastoral ministry.  It was the Meadow Grove Church body that gave him the first pastoral opportunity, and even provided some training through NOBTS.  Keith pastored MGBC until 2006 when the calls of The Lord and life led him to more training and experiences in church and public education.  God’s ways are unique and amazing, and He has led Keith and his wife back to their church home!  Learning and sharing The Word and The Truth in Christ, encouraging all to apply the Biblical teachings in life, and building others through encouragement from the Word are Keith’s points of emphasis.  Perhaps you can help this church improve in Christ or create new ministries aimed at Kingdom Growth and strengthening of the body!

Carla Nuckolls is Keith’s capable and talented wife.  Together they are blessed with three children (Alicia, Bradley, and Caleb), each married to a wonderful Christian spouse (Christopher, Mackenzie, and McKenzie respectively).  Five grandchildren have been glorious gifts, and another one approaches them in early August.  And if we didn’t make it clear enough, Family and relationships in God’s love may be the greatest gift of this church.
